LOS ANGELES: David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess star as best friends who open an upscale restaurant in Lionsgate Entertainment’s L.A. Screenings highlight Feed the Beast.

Written and executive produced by Clyde Phillips (Dexter, Nurse Jackie), Feed the Beast looks on as the pals navigate the underbelly of the New York restaurant world. Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey stars in and executive produces Greenleaf, another drama in the company’s lineup. The series tells the story of a family-built church that houses many secrets and lies. Lionsgate’s slate also features the comedy Nightcap, a ten-episode series that offers an edgy behind-the-scenes look at a fictitious late-night talk show.

“Lionsgate’s L.A. Screenings slate features top-tier talent along with unparalleled storytellers,” says Peter Iacono, Lionsgate’s president of international television and digital distribution. “These character-driven narratives feature universal themes to which all audiences can relate.”
