LOS ANGELES: Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution's lineup for the L.A. Screenings includes Backstrom, featuring Rainn Wilson of The Office, and Empire, starring Terrence Howard, both of which are set for FOX midseason.

The studio is also showcasing the FOX series The Last Man on Earth, led by Saturday Night Live alum Will Forte, which is set for midseason, as well as Hieroglyph, set in ancient Egypt.

There's also Cristela, set for Friday nights this fall on ABC, about a law-school student dealing with her traditional Mexican-American family. Fresh Off the Boat, a midseason pickup for ABC, is based on the memoir of chef Eddie Huang about his immigrant family's experience pursuing the American Dream.

Complications, which is set for USA Network, is a drama about a suburban ER doctor who finds his existence transformed after he saves a young boy's life and kills one of the attackers. Rush, also set for USA, is about a renegade physician who caters to L.A.'s elite.
