L.A. Screenings: New from Sony Pictures Television

NEW YORK: Sony Pictures Television (SPT) will be screening a number of new U.S. shows for buyers, including the NBC series Save Me, starring Anne Heche.

Save Me, about a woman who suffers a near-death experience and gets a direct line to God, will be featured in NBC’s midseason slate.

SPT also placed shows with CBS: The Job, a reality show set for midseason, and Made in Jersey, about a street-smart Jersey girl who’s working in a prestigious New York law firm.

FOX picked up SPT’s The Mob Doctor, a medical drama about a surgeon who is indebted to the Chicago mob. ABC took on SPT’s Last Resort, a new drama from Shawn Ryan.
