L.A. Screenings: New from CBS Studios International

NEW YORK: CBS Studios International (CBSSI) will be presenting international buyers with the new CBS comedies The Millers and We Are Men and the drama Reckless, alongside a pair of shows that made it to The CW.

The Millers features Will Arnett as Nathan Miller, a recently divorced local roving news reporter whose mother moves in with him after his parents’ divorce. The cast also includes Margo Martindale, Beau Bridges, Eve Moon and JB Smoove. The show scored a Thursday 8:30 p.m. slot on CBS’s fall schedule, getting a lead-in from the hit The Big Bang Theory. We Are Men is a single-camera comedy about four bachelors living in the same apartment complex. Chris Smith, Tony Shalhoub, Kal Penn and Jerry O’Connell lead the case. We Are Men has been given a Monday 8:30 p.m. slot on CBS for the fall. The drama Reckless, making CBS’s midseason schedule, is a legal drama set in Charleston, South Carolina.

The studio will also be screening two shows that have been picked up by The CW. Reign, which anchors the network’s Thursday night lineup, tells the story of the young woman who history would come to know as Mary, Queen of Scots. Star-Crossed, part of The CW’s midseason schedule, is about a group of teens who are actually an alien species called Atrians, who are now enrolled in human high school.
