Key & Peele Duo to Develop Animated Spin-Off

NEW YORK: Comedy Central has extended the show Key & Peele, and has given a development deal to Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele for an animated series.

The pair, who created Key & Peele and star in the comedy, are going to expand their Critiquer's Corner "Vandaveon & Mike" characters into an animated series, set as 12-year-old hall monitors navigating their way through middle school.

The extension of Key & Peele brings the fourth season order to 22 episodes, 20 originals plus two "best of" episodes.
