Hulu Teams with Lionsgate, Plan B for Supernatural Comedy

LOS ANGELES: Hulu has ordered the ten-episode comedy Deadbeat, co-produced by Lionsgate and Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment.

The supernatural comedy is from creators Cody Heller and Brett Konner, who previously worked on the FX show Wilfred. It focuses on a male medium who helps New York’s ghosts to settle their unfinished business. Troy Miller (Flight of the Conchords) of Dakota Pictures will direct and executive produce.

Production is set for fall, with a debut next year.
