LOS ANGELES: Hulu Plus has secured a multiyear licensing agreement to stream prior seasons of hits from the NBCUniversal TV catalogue, including The Mindy Project and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

The deal between Hulu and NBCUniversal Television & New Media Distribution U.S. & Canada sees Hulu Plus subscribers gaining access to prior seasons of Universal Television's The Mindy Project and the comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine exclusively on SVOD. In the coming weeks, additional NBCU hits, including Bravo's The Real Housewives franchise, Top Chef and The Millionaire Matchmaker will also be available on SVOD exclusively to Hulu Plus subscribers. The agreement also includes E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“NBCU programming has always been a significant part of Hulu’s success and growth. We are excited that Hulu will be the home for fans to catch up, discover and binge these hit comedies and reality shows, many of which have never been available in their entirety on-demand,” said Mike Hopkins, Hulu's CEO. “As Mindy returns this week with new episodes, we’re excited that viewers can now exclusively re-watch the first season of the hit series on Hulu Plus, and for the first time, have a Real Housewives or Top Chef marathon from their living rooms or on the go.”

“We are delighted that this deal will build on our strong partnership with Hulu,” said Frances Manfredi, the president of NBCUniversal Television & New Media Distribution, U.S. & Canada. "Now prior seasons of these great Universal Television comedies and the best reality content on television from Bravo and E! Networks will be available to Hulu Plus subscribers exclusively to discover for the first time or to catch up on their favorite shows.”
