LOS ANGELES: Hulu has revealed details on ten new shows it plans to roll out this year, four of which are originals.

The Awesomes is an adult animated comedy inspired by the comedy of co-creators Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live) and Michael Shoemaker (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon). It marks the first animated Hulu original series and debuts August 1.

Following on August 5 is Quick Draw, a comedic half-hour western set in 1875. The series is co-created and executive produced by Nancy Hower and John Lehr (10 Items or Less, Jailbait). In November the comedy The Wrong Mans makes its debut. It is co-written and co-starring James Corden (Doctor Who, Gavin & Stacey) and Mathew Baynton (Peep Show, Gavin & Stacey). This is Hulu’s second co-production with the BBC, brokered by BBC Worldwide Americas.

Other new programming headed to Hulu includes Behind the Mask, which debuts October 29. It takes viewers behind the scenes of the world of sports mascots. Mother Up! is a 13-episode animated comedy. It was developed by Rogers Media and co-produced by Breakthrough Entertainment and Bardel Entertainment, in association with Mass Animation.

Also coming to Hulu are Fugget About It, The Strange Calls, Run and season five of Misfits. A second season of Moone Boy is slated for the digital platform as well.
