Hulu has acquired the exclusive U.S. streaming rights for the first two seasons of the Canadian comedy series Letterkenny, and in a separate deal the streaming service picked up the Sundance Film Festival doc Minding the Gap.

In a deal secured by DHX Media, Letterkenny seasons one and two will make their debut in the U.S. on July 13 on Hulu. The comedy is a CraveTV original produced by New Metric Media.

Separately, Hulu acquired the rights for Minding the Gap, a documentary from director Bing Liu about three young men who bond across racial lines to escape volatile families in their Rust Belt hometown. The film made its world premiere earlier this year at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the U.S. Documentary Special Jury Award for Breakthrough Filmmaking. The doc will be released as a Hulu Documentary both theatrically across key markets in the U.S. and on Hulu on August 17.
