Howard Stern Joins America’s Got Talent

UNIVERSAL CITY: Radio personality Howard Stern has confirmed his place on the judging panel of the NBC competition series America’s Got Talent, produced by FremantleMedia North America and Simon Cowell‘s Syco Television.

Production of the live shows will be moving to New York, where Stern will continue to work on his SiriusXM radio program. He is perhaps best known from his long stint in radio, though Stern is also the author of two books, Private Parts and Miss America, and also hosted TV shows. Stern will now provide feedback to aspiring stars on America’s Got Talent, which into its seventh season this summer.

"Howard Stern’s larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to America’s Got Talent starting this summer," said Paul Telegdy, the president of alternative and late night programming at NBC. "He’s a proven innovator and his track record in broadcasting is truly remarkable. Howard is very passionate about this show and is fully committed to its future success."
