Mohan Mandali and Jasmine Russ are joining the new development and production company Fabel Entertainment, founded by Fabrik Entertainment’s Henrik Bastin.

Mandali and Russ have been named directors of development for Fabel, responsible for the development slate retained from Fabrik while focused on cultivating a number of new projects across a variety of genres for Fabel.

Both Mandali and Russ will continue to report to President Melissa Aouate.

Mandali, who joined the team in 2019, has been vital in developing high-profile series, including the new Bosch spin-off for IMDb TV and a new scripted series based on world-famous neurologist Oliver Sacks.

Russ has also played a significant role in developing new titles like the upcoming Bosch spin-off and Invisible Monsters, based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk.

“Mohan and Jasmine are important members of our multinational team and their creativity and deep knowledge of genre storytelling has led to some of our most exciting projects currently in development and production,” said Bastin, CEO and executive producer at Fabel. “I am confident that their impressive contributions will continue to feed our growing pipeline as we strengthen our slate and industry relationships.”

“As we continue to nurture our relationships with creators and develop more powerful stories across genres, Mohan and Jasmine bring a fresh and diverse perspective to our development slate,” said Aouate. “They have been instrumental in creating and developing popular adaptations and series that continue to resonate worldwide.”
