LOS ANGELES: The hit web comedy High Maintenance, which originally debuted on Vimeo, is coming to HBO with six new episodes.

The series follows a Brooklyn marijuana dealer who delivers to a diverse array of clients across New York City. The show is created and written by the husband-and-wife duo of Katja Blichfeld (casting director of 30 Rock) and Ben Sinclair (Sisters, Big C), and executive produced by Blichfeld, Russell Gregory and Sinclair.

Along with airing the six new episodes, HBO will also make the 19 previous web episodes available later this year on HBO, HBO NOW and HBO GO.

High Maintenance has proven to be one of today’s most highly-acclaimed online comedies,” noted Michael Lombardo, the president of HBO Programming. “We are thrilled to bring this sophisticated and clever series to our HBO audience.”

“We have been growing this show organically for three years now, and we are elated to bring it into full maturity at HBO, the gold-standard of both online and televised entertainment,” added Blichfeld and Sinclair.
