HBO Renews Veep, Silicon Valley

LOS ANGELES: The comedy Veep is returning for a fifth season on HBO, while Silicon Valley is coming back for a third.

Veep kicked off its ten-episode fourth season this past Sunday, April 12, at 10:30 p.m. Silicon Valley returned for its ten-episode sophomore run in the 10 p.m. slot on Sunday.

"Veep and Silicon Valley are terrific series, and I'm immensely proud that they will return to HBO next year," said Michael Lombardo, the president of HBO Programming. "Along with Game of Thrones and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, both of which have already been renewed for 2016, they give HBO a stellar Sunday night like no other."
