FX Unveils Midseason Grid

LOS ANGELES: FX’s Emmy Award-winning drama Justified and the animated series Archer are both heading into third seasons in the network’s midseason 2012 schedule, alongside the launch of the new show Unsupervised.

Justified is based on the works of crime novelist Elmore Leonard and was developed by Graham Yost, who also serves as executive produced with Leonard, Fred Golan, Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly and Michael Dinner. It is produced by Sony Pictures Television and FX Productions and returns with its third season on January 17. FX’s animated series Archer is also returning for its third season, premiering January 19. The half-hour comedy is about the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS) and the lives of its employees.

The new animated comedy Unsupervised will premiere following Archer. The series was created by and is executive produced by Rob Rosell, Scott Marder and David Hornsby, all who currently serve as writers/producers on FX’s comedy series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It features the voices of Justin Long, Kristen Bell, Fred Armisen, Romany Malco, Kaitlin Olson and Alexa Vega, along with Rosell and Hornsby. Unsupervised is produced by FX Productions, in association with RCG Productions and Floyd County. The series will be animated by Archer executive producers Adam Reed and Matt Thompson.
