FX Signs Fargo Creator Noah Hawley to Overall Deal

LOS ANGELES: Noah Hawley, the creator and showrunner of Fargo, has entered into a three-year overall production deal with FX Productions and FX Networks.

Under the partnership, Hawley will develop numerous new projects, in addition to remaining on board Fargo. Hawley currently has several projects under development with FX Productions and FX Networks. Among them, Legion is about a man diagnosed as schizophrenic who confronts the possibility that the voices he hears and visions he sees might actually be real. Cat’s Cradle, meanwhile, is based on the novel of the same name by Kurt Vonnegut. Other projects in the works are Hellhound on His Trail and The Hot Rock.

“In a remarkably short time, Noah has proven himself to be one of the best writers and showrunners in television with the stunning back-to-back success of the Fargo franchise,” said John Landgraf, the CEO of FX Networks and FX Productions. “He loves to challenge himself creatively and has a gift for making complex stories engaging and entertaining. We are excited to continue to work closely with Noah and offer all the support he needs to fully realize his vision for these new projects.”
