FX Orders Comedy Pilot from Pamela Adlon & Louis C.K.

PASADENA: FX is teaming up with Louis C.K. on the new comedy pilot Better Things, created by and starring Louie alum Pamela Adlon.

C.K. and Adlon will executive produce and co-write the pilot, about a single mom navigating life’s up and downs, with C.K. also set to direct. Adlon is a two-time Emmy nominee for her role on Louie. The pilot is produced by FX Productions.

The network also announced the launch of a new single-camera sitcom, The Comedians, debuting April 9 at 10 p.m., followed by the premiere of the fifth season of Louie.
