WEST HOLLYWOOD: Tara Duncan has been named the VP of development at Fuse Entertainment, where she will assume the role in March.

Previously, Duncan served as the director of scripted development at AMC, where she oversaw development of the Fuse-produced series The Killing, as well as Rubicon and the international co-produced mini-series The Prisoner. Her career began at George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh’s production company, Section Eight, where she worked on the HBO series Unscripted and the Academy Award-nominated film Good Night, and Good Luck.

Mikkel Bondesen, the founder and partner of Fuse; Henrik Bastin, the CEO; and Kristen Campo, partner, said, "Since we got to work closely with Tara on The Killing, we experienced her creative abilities first-hand. Tara has a background with two leading cable networks, and she’s developed shows from the ground up, both as a buyer and a seller. When you consider her creativity, experience, and the fact that she is a wonderful person, it becomes evident that she is the Swiss Army Knife of executives. We are grateful that Tara has chosen Fuse as the place to apply her multitude of skills."
