Freeform Ups Young & Hungry Season Five Order

BURBANK: Freeform has picked up additional episodes for the fifth season of its original comedy Young & Hungry.

The first half of season five will premiere on Monday, March 13, at 8 p.m., while the back half will air on Freeform at a later date. The episode count for season five now totals 20. In the fifth season, Gabi and Josh attempt to prove to their friends that they won’t allow their feelings to get in the way of their new “friends with benefits” arrangement, while Sofia continues on the path to a career in journalism and Josh faces an unexpected reunion with his estranged father.

Betty White and Carl Reiner guest star, and Michael Voltaggio will once again appear as himself. In addition, Heather Dubrow of The Real Housewives of Orange County will make a guest appearance.

Young & Hungry is produced by David Holden, Ashley Tisdale, Jessica Rhoades, Caryn Lucas, Eric Tannenbaum and Kim Tannenbaum in association with CBS Television Studios. Gabi Moskowitz of BrokeAssGourmet.com is a San Francisco-based food blogger who contributed to the development of the project. The series stars Emily Osment, Jonathan Sadowski, Aimee Carrero, Kym Whitley and Rex Lee.
