FOX Moves Glee to Thursdays

NEW YORK: FOX has unveiled its lineup for the 2012-13 season, which features a heavy focus on comedy and sees the hit show Glee moving to Thursdays following The X Factor.

Monday night on FOX will feature Bones returning at 8 p.m. and the new series The Mob Doctor, about a Chicago surgeon who balances her medical career with her lifelong debt to the mob, at 9 p.m. Joining midseason is The Following, a drama series starring Kevin Bacon about the hunt for a serial killer.

Tuesdays Raising Hope kicks off the night with its return, followed by the new show Ben and Kate, a single-camera comedy about odd-couple siblings. New Girl is headed back, taking the 9 p.m., with the all-new comedy The Mindy Project, from The Office‘s Mindy Kaling, at 9:30 p.m. The Goodwin Games, a comedy about three grown siblings who return home after their father’s death to honor his last wishes, will join midseason.

Wednesday nights will feature The X Factor in the fall and American Idol midseason. Both shows will air their results episodes in the 8 p.m. slots on Thursdays. Glee has been moved to occupy the 9 p.m. slot on Thursdays.

Touch has also been moved, taking over 8 p.m. Fringe is in the 9 p.m. slot. Hell’s Kitchen returns midseason. Saturdays in the fall will feature sports. Cops returns midseason. Animation Domination High-Def will join late-prime in 2013. Sunday night remains packed with animation, with The Cleveland Show, The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy and American Dad.
