FOX Adds More Brooklyn Nine-Nine to Schedule

LOS ANGELES: FOX has committed to nine additional episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, a new comedy series starring Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher.

Created and written by Parks and Recreation's Dan Goor and Michael Schur, Brooklyn Nine-Nine follows the life of a laid-back police detective. It is produced by Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Fremulon. The next new episode is set to air on Tuesday, October 22 at 8:30 p.m. The show will also be part of a special one-hour comedy event slated for broadcast right after the Superbowl on Sunday, February 2, 2014.

"It's exciting to see that both critics and fans love Brooklyn Nine-Nine as much as we do," said Kevin Reilly, the chairman of entertainment at Fox Broadcasting Company. "With Andy and Andre out in front of this incredible ensemble, it feels like this show is going to be around for a long time."
