Family Guy Episode to Feature The Simpsons

LOS ANGELES: Next fall FOX is slated to air a crossover episode of Family Guy that will watch as the Griffin family meets characters from The Simpsons.

In the episode, titled "The Simpsons Guy," the Griffins find themselves in Springfield, where they become acquainted with Homer Simpson and his family. Guest voices will include Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith and Hank Azaria. The Simpsons is produced by Gracie Films in collaboration with 20th Century Fox Television.

Family Guy, also produced by 20th Century Fox Television, is heading into its 11th season. The animated comedy revolves around a wacky family living in the New England town of Quahog. It is created and executive produced by Seth MacFarlane.

"FOX hasn’t spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping," said Family Guy‘s Peter Griffin.

Homer Simpson added: "Finally I can get my hands on this guy!"
