LOS ANGELES: Sean Combs’ upcoming cable network Revolt TV has secured carriage on the Time Warner Cable platform, building on existing distribution deals to make its launch one of the largest in cable TV history.

Revolt TV is scheduled to launch this fall. The channel will focus on music programming, live content and will have an extensive social-media component.

In February of last year, Comcast announced that Revolt would be one of four new minority-owned independent networks to be broadly distributed by the cable provider. Revolt TV will also now be available to Time Warner Cable customers when it launches in the fall.

"This is a landmark distribution deal that demonstrates Time Warner Cable’s commitment to bringing a platform for music artists and fans to their subscribers," said Combs, Revolt TV’s founder and chairman. "It positions Revolt to come out of the gate strong, and we look forward to igniting the passion of initial audiences across the U.S."
