NEW YORK: Having launched as a preview in April for Euro 2012, ESPNFC has made its official debut across multiple platforms, including an expansion to TV and mobile in the U.K.

The multiplatform, multi-language and multi-country brand has unified all of ESPN’s soccer properties under this single banner. ESPNFC officially debuts today, ahead of the start of the Barclays Premier League. The service is available online and on mobile, and appears on TV in the U.K. for the first time.

The new ESPNFC PressPass is a daily show that will feature panelists and contributors from the world of soccer. The PressPass series first debuted in September 2002 on ESPN International’s English-speaking networks.

Arne Rees, the VP of international digital media for ESPN International, said: “ESPN is making a big statement with today’s launch of ESPNFC. We are committed to the global game with a global, cross-media brand to cover it 24/7. ESPNFC aims to serve fans by being the leading destination for definitive football coverage worldwide and year-round whenever and wherever fans want it.”
