EPIX to Offer New Apps on PlayStation

NEW YORK: This year EPIX is slated to release an app, featuring access to more than 3,000 titles, on PlayStation 3 (PS3) and another on PlayStation Vita (PS Vita).

The app will include new releases in high-definition such as Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol, The Hunger Games and Thor, to name a few. It will also feature EPIX original programming, including concert, comedy and sporting events.

For PS3 users, the app will be available during the first quarter of this year. In will also be offered on PS Vita in the spring. PlayStation Network members in the U.S. can download the app for free in the PlayStation Store.
