eOne Secures North American Rights to Virginia

LOS ANGELES/TORONTO: Entertainment One (eOne) has acquired the North American distribution rights in all media to the drama feature film Virginia, starring Jennifer Connelly, Emma Roberts and Ed Harris.

Virginia is expected to be released in theaters in the U.S. and Canada in the spring. Worldwide rights for the film are being handled by Inferno Entertainment. Hopwood DePree XIV and Scott J. Brooks of TicTock Studios produced with Christine Vachon at Killer Films. Gus VanSant, Yeardley Smith, Jay Froberg and Greg Suess executive produced. Virginia was written and directed by Dustin Lance Black (J. Edgar, Milk) is about a charming yet mentally ill mother, and a married Mormon sheriff who may be the father of her son.
