Endemol Shine Alum Tapped by Universal Television Alternative Studio

Georgie Hurford-Jones, who most recently worked at Endemol Shine North America, has joined Universal Television Alternative Studio as executive VP of current programming.

Hurford-Jones had been serving as senior VP of unscripted original series and specials at Endemol Shine North America. In her new role, Hurford-Jones will oversee day-to-day management of Universal Television Alternative Studio’s series and pilots with responsibilities that include development, casting, creative, formats and production plans. She will report to Toby Gorman, who was recently named president of Universal Television Alternative Studio.
