Electus International Touts Mix of Scripted, Unscripted & Event Series

LOS ANGELES: Electus International is gearing up for MIPTV, where it will be showcasing a range of original series developed by Electus and its partners, as well as third-party titles acquired for international distribution.

Offerings include The Raft. The National Geographic Channel series watches as two people are stranded in the middle of the open ocean in a life raft.

Electus International has the format rights for Jane the Virgin, a Golden Globe-nominated series produced by CBS Television Studios for The CW. The show is an adaptation of the Venezuelan telenovela Juana la Virgen.

Bellator mixed-martial arts action is on offer from Electus International. Sixteen fights are available, as well as specials and a back catalogue with previous tournament seasons from Spike TV in the U.S.

In Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, famed survivalist Bear Grylls mentors eight celebrities as they navigate difficult terrain, build shelter, make fire and provide food for themselves on a 12-day mission. A season of six hour-long episodes was produced for ITV in the U.K.

Outlaw Country is a 7×1-hour show for WGN in the U.S. It chronicles the battle between law enforcement and crime by following two brothers who are the Chief of Police and the head of the Buckner Criminal Task Force.

TLC’s Style by Jury is hosted by style experts Louise Roe and Preston Konrad. Each episode features fashion criminals being critiqued behind a two-way mirror by a jury of their peers. They are then confronted with what kind of impression their physical appearance is making to the outside world.

The cooking competition Food Fighters, which has had two seasons on NBC, sees home cooks go head-to-head with professional chefs. If the home cooks can defend all of their signature dishes against the culinary powerhouses, they'll take home the $100,000 grand prize.

Electus International is offering the finished VH1 series and the format of Dating Naked. The social experiment watches as daters meet at a primitive island resort, completely in the nude.

The format and finished tape are also available for Operation Change, which was produced for OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. The TV event is about one family’s quest to make the world a better place for everyone.

Dog and Beth: On the Hunt, for CMT, is being offered as a finished series and as a format as well. It follows the renowned bounty hunters as they motivate and inspire local bondsmen and bounty hunters across the U.S.

The Bravo series Online Dating Rituals of the Modern Male is set in the world of online dating, as shown from a male perspective. Each week, the show follows two men as they hunt for their ideal partner or potential hookup.

Southern Justice, an 8×1-hour series for National Geographic Channel, delivers the true stories from two counties in the Blue Grass Mountains of Appalachia. The action includes ride-alongs, criminal investigations and personal drama inside jails and courtrooms.
