Eddie Dalva Upped to EVP of Content & Programming Enterprises at Viacom

NEW YORK: Viacom's Eddie Dalva has been upped to the role of executive VP of content and programming enterprises for Viacom Entertainment and Music Groups.

Dalva will now oversee a wide array of programming responsibilities, including the pursuit of domestic and international content partnerships and programming enterprises, along with strategic co-ventures and digital opportunities. The exec will also use his experience and global relationships to find creative financing of reality, scripted and sports programming. He will continue to report to John Cucci, the COO of Viacom Entertainment Group, and Alex Ferrari, the COO of Viacom Music Group.

Dalva previously served as senior VP of content for Viacom Entertainment and Music Groups, where he helped co-finance reality and scripting programming across Viacom Media Networks.

“I am thrilled to announce Eddie’s promotion as he has played an integral role in enhancing the value of our content and brands globally,” Cucci said.

Ferrari added: “Eddie is a skilled deal maker and strategic thinker who is a huge asset in extending the reach of our brands worldwide.”
