LOS ANGELES: Dynamic Television has hired veteran programming exec Holly Hines as its senior VP of content.

Hines will work out of Los Angeles under Daniel March, who serves as Dynamic's managing partner alongside Klaus Zimmermann. She will be charged with identifying, developing and selling new scripted shows and miniseries to commissioning channels in the U.S., the U.K., Canada and Australia. She will also help March and Zimmermann oversee the company's produced television shows.

Previously, Hines was the senior VP of scripted programming for Pivot TV, where she was responsible for the production and development of such original series as Fortitude (Sky Atlantic) and Please Like Me (Australia's ABC). Before that, she was the VP of scripted development at FremantleMedia North America. Earlier in her career, Hines held development positions at Fuse, TLC and Bull's Eye Entertainment.

"Holly is a dynamic executive with great creative instincts, an eye for talent, and a well-respected and extensive network of industry contacts," said March and Zimmermann. "In addition, she is one of the few television executives who understands and operates in the independent production model, which will enable Dynamic to pursue more co-production opportunities and accelerate our original content initiatives."

"In a short amount of time, Dynamic Television has brought an exciting slate of scripted drama to the global marketplace," added Hines. "Their strong distribution infrastructure, talent-friendly approach, and reputation with global broadcasters attracted me to this position. I'm delighted to join the incredible team and I look forward to working with Dan and Klaus to deliver new programs that exceed the expectations of our partners."
