Drop Dead Diva Coming to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has acquired the legal dramedy Drop Dead Diva, which originally ran for six seasons on Lifetime.

Created by Josh Berman, the series explores the story of a vapid aspiring model who is killed in a car crash and gets brought back to life as an intelligent, high-powered lawyer hoping to find the meaning of inner beauty.

The show stars Brooke Elliot (Sweet Magnolias), Margaret Cho (Hacks) and Kate Levering (Cruel Intentions).

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has slated the series for weekdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
