SANTA MONICA: GSN has given the go-ahead to 40 episodes of Winsanity, a new original game show that will be presented by actor and comedian Donald Faison (Scrubs).

Each half-hour episode of Winsanity will see a contestant attempt to rank ten surprising facts in numerical order from lowest to highest. An example would be, "Which is greater: the number of times a man thinks about sex in a day, or the number of words a woman speaks in a day?" When the contestant answers correctly and wins a prize, so does a random section of the studio audience. But if the contestant gives a wrong answer, they and the audience lose everything and a new contestant continues the game.

Winsanity is produced for GSN by Electus. Exec producers include Electus's Chris Grant and Barracuda Television Productions's Barry Poznick. The show will begin filming early next year.

"Winsanity is a fun, raucous game where contestants play for prizes for themselves as well as members of the audience," said Amy Introcaso-Davis, the executive VP of programming and development for GSN. "Donald Faison's sharp comedic timing makes him the perfect host for this fast-paced game that is filled with terrific play-along."
