Deutschland 83, Mr. Robot Among Peabody Winners

ATHENS: Deutschland 83 and Mr. Robot are among the latest batch of winners for this year’s Peabody Awards.

The Peabody Awards board of jurors today announced the entertainment and children’s programs that are among this year’s Peabody 30 winners. A handful of Netflix programs received honors: Beasts of No Nation, Marvel’s Jessica Jones and Master of None. Amazon’s Transparent was also recognized.

ABC’s black-ish scored a nod, as did HBO’s The Leftovers, Lifetime’s UnREAL and PBS’s Wolf Hall. In children’s CBeebies’s Katie Morag was awarded a Peabody.

Documentary and education winners will be revealed on April 26.
