Condé Nast Hires for Film & TV Units

NEW YORK: Driving its push into film and television, Condé Nast Entertainment has hired Jeremy Steckler as executive VP of motion pictures and Michael Klein as executive VP of alternative programming.

Steckler will acquire and develop film properties for the company. He comes to the role, based in Los Angeles, having most recently served as executive VP of production at Imagine Entertainment.

Klein is tasked with developing and producing alternative programming. He joins from Sundance Channel, where he was the senior VP of programming and development.

Both report to Dawn Ostroff, the president of Condé Nast Entertainment Group. “I am delighted to welcome these talented executives on board as we build a team that is shaping the new ways in which Condé Nast creates and distributes its sought-after content,” said Ostroff. “Jeremy’s and Michael’s strengths, combined with the significant impact of our brands, present a huge opportunity for us to grow our business across traditional, digital and new platforms.”
