NEW YORK: There's going to be a second season of Broad City, thanks to a new 10-episode order from Comedy Central.

The show launched on January 22 and is currently airing new episodes on Wednesdays at 10:30 p.m. It averages 1.2 million total viewers per episode. It was created by Ilana Jacobson and Abbi Glazer, who executive produce along with Amy Poehler, 3 Arts' Dave Becky, Sam Saifer and Tony Hernandez.

"I didn't realize Broad City was so good until I read all the incredible reviews," said Kent Alterman, the president of content development and original programming at Comedy Central. "Now I'm really excited about it."
