Comedy Central Combines Linear & Digital Posts

NEW YORK: Comedy Central has changed its internal structure to eliminate the divide between linear and digital.

David Bernath, the executive VP of programming and multiplatform strategy, now leads all programming for the brand. Walter Levitt, the chief marketing officer, is responsible for Comedy Central's fan outreach across all platforms. Both continue to report to Michele Ganeless, the president of Comedy Central.

“We’ve dismantled the department formerly known as ‘digital’ to create an organization that better serves our fans and advertisers,” said Ganeless. “Our fans don’t use the word ‘digital’ to talk about content and now, neither do we.”
