CBS to Turn Draw Something into TV Show

LOS ANGELES: CBS has ordered a pilot for a new TV game show based on the mobile game Draw Something.

A joint venture from Sony Pictures Television, Ryan Seacrest Productions and Embassy Row, the show will have celebrity contestants as well as everyday people playing for prizes in front of a live audience. The game show will be based on the Zynga software, in which two players draw pictures to describe a word that their opponent has to guess. The game had 35 million downloads in the six weeks following its launch.
