CBS Shifts Prime-Time Hours for Sunday NFL Doubleheaders

LOS ANGELES: CBS’s prime-time shows are being listed to start 30 minutes later than normal on Sunday nights to accommodate NFL games on doubleheader weekends.

60 Minutes will be leading the night at 7:30 p.m., followed by Big Brother 14 at 8:30 p.m. through September 23, then The Amazing Race takes over the slot as of September 30. The Good Wife will occupy the 9:30 p.m. hour, followed by The Mentalist at 10:30 p.m.

The doubleheader Sundays are September 16 and 23; October 7 and 21; November 4 and 18; and December 2, 16 and 30. To assist viewers with the changes, the network also unveiled a multiplatform upgrade to the CBS Eye-lert system, which informs of adjusted start times.
