BTI Studios, a media localization company that offers dubbing, subtitling and access services, has hired John Koscheka as executive VP of OTT operations.

Koscheka will manage OTT operational staff across BTI Studios from a global perspective, including more than 60 dedicated resources in the U.S., Asia and Europe. He will also optimize global OTT operations workflows and coordinate with the sales team. In addition, Koscheka will support the new U.S.-based customers and establish workflows that will increase growth. He will be based at the newly expanded Los Angeles facility.

Previously, Koscheka worked for two decades at 20th Century Fox, where he led worldwide customer service, localization and TV/film mastering.

Koscheka said: “I was attracted by BTI’s care for its people in addition to the energy, growth and culture of this highly innovative and entrepreneurial company. Also, the organization’s commitment to creating quality localized content on a global scale and the pursuit of industry leadership resonated as clear guiding forces.”

Björn Lifvergren, BTI Studios’ CEO and founder, added: “John is a seasoned leader with a great attitude and a wealth of knowledge of the studio world, as well as building workflows to manage complex operations with broadcasters, content owners and OTT platforms. He is a great fit with BTI, and will make our already strong U.S. team even stronger.”
