Brooke Posch Climbs the Ranks at Comedy Central

NEW YORK: Comedy Central has elevated Brooke Posch from VP to senior VP of original programming and development for the East Coast.

In her new post, Posch will work under Kent Alterman, the network's president of content development and original programming. She will continue to manage the development and production of all East Coast-based original pilots and series, including Broad City, which was picked up for a sophomore run earlier this week.

"Brooke is so personable and has such finely-tuned creative instincts she could do anything she wants in this business," said Alterman. "I'm just grateful she's letting me be her boss."
