Broad Green Appoints Head of Media

LOS ANGELES: Broad Green Pictures has hired Gail Heaney as the company's executive VP of media, a title she previously held at Lionsgate's Summit Entertainment.

Heaney will be charged with developing media strategies for all theatrical, VOD and home-entertainment releases across all platforms. As executive VP of media at Summit Entertainment, she worked on The Twilight Saga, Divergent and The Hurt Locker. Before that, Heaney served as the VP of media strategies for The CW Television Network and VP of media for Universal. She was also employed by the ad agencies J. Walter Thompson (JWT) and DDB Needham.

"Gail brings such incredible experience and energy to the company," said Gabriel Hammond, the CEO of Broad Green Pictures, and Daniel Hammond, the studio's chief creative officer. "She has successfully executed campaigns at the highest budget levels as well as for challenging specialty films, and we couldn't be more excited to have her on our team."
