BoPaul Media Secures Sales in U.S. & Germany

LOS ANGELES: BoPaul Media Worldwide has sold ten films from its catalogue, including Zulu Dawn and Ashanti, in the U.S. and Germany.

In Germany, Subkultur Entertainment scored the home-video rights for a handful of productions featuring Spanish horror movie veteran Paul Naschy. These titles include Horror Rises from the Tomb, Vengeance of the Zombies, Night of the Werewolf and Night of the Sorcerers, as well as The Man Who Saw Frankenstein Cry, which profiles Naschy’s life. Filmmaker John Landis said of Naschy: "His place in the history of fantasy and horror film is assured."

Sony Movie Channel in the U.S. took the pay-TV rights for five titles produced and released by leading U.S. distributors in 1979. They include Wild Geese with Richard Burton and Roger Moore, Ashanti with Michael Caine, Zulu Dawn with Peter O’Toole and Burt Lancaster, Jaguar Lives with Donald Pleasance and Game for Vultures with Richard Harris and Joan Collins.
