Big Star’s Little Star Format Gets U.S. Remake

The ITV Studios format Big Star’s Little Star has been adapted for the U.S. market, launching on USA Network in May with Cat Deeley as host.

Airing as Big Star Little Star, the family game show pairs celebs with their kids as they playfully test their knowledge of one another. Each episode will feature three famous families as they reveal comedic behind-the-scenes moments about their real lives, all in good fun to win money for their chosen charities. Big Star Little Star is produced by ITV Entertainment based on the format by 12 Yard Productions. The show launches May 31 at 9 p.m. on USA Network.

USA Network has also set a premiere date for its new drama The Sinner, starring and executive produced by Jessica Biel. Debuting August 2 at 10 p.m., the series follows a young mother who, when overcome by an inexplicable fit of rage, commits a startling act of violence and to her horror, has no idea why. Detective Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) finds himself obsessed with uncovering the woman’s buried motive.

Season two of Queen of the South debuts on USA Network on June 8, while season three of Playing House launches June 23. Suits returns for its seventh season on July 12, followed by the season two debut of Shooter on July 18.
