beIN Sport Names Deputy MD for North America

MIAMI: Antonio Briceño has been appointed as deputy managing director for North America at beIN Sport.

As deputy MD, Briceño will work under Yousef Al-Obaidly, the managing director of the network. He will be responsible for managing operations, production, marketing, sales and distribution for beIN Sport and beIN Sport en Español. He will also oversee beIN SPORT PLAY, an authenticated-streaming service.

Briceño is credited with contributing to the U.S. launch of beIN Sport and helping to expand the network's Miami-based team. He has been working in the television industry for more than two decades.
