NEW YORK: BBC America is set to premiere next month the comedy quiz show QI, along with the broadcast of the BAFTA film awards, both hosted by British actor, comedian, writer and director Stephen Fry.

QI, due out February 19, is a panel show in which contestants are rewarded if their answers are “quite interesting.” Every season is themed around a different letter of the alphabet and each episode has a different theme on which the celebrity guests have to answer questions without citing common misconceptions and urban myths. The program will launch with three back-to-back episodes of season J. QI was created by executive producer John Lloyd and is distributed by FremantleMedia International.

Before QI’s debut, Stephen Fry will host The EE British Academy Film Awards 2015 on February 8, exclusively broadcast in the U.S. on BBC America. This marks Fry’s tenth time hosting the ceremony, which honors the best films of the year.
