LOS ANGELES: Next month AXS TV in the U.S. is scheduled to air the Nobel Peace Prize Concert, which is being presented by Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning actress Claire Danes.

The 90-minute concert is taking place in Norway at the Oslo Spektrum arena on Wednesday, December 11. It will be broadcast on AXS TV that same day from 8-9:30 p.m. The 20th annual event is honoring the Nobel Prize Laureate Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). Musical guests will include Mary J. Blige, James Blunt and hip-hop duo Envy.

The Nobel Peace Prize Concert is produced by IMG in association with Eyeworks Dinamo. It will air in more than 100 countries around the world.

"AXS TV is proud to be the exclusive U.S. TV broadcaster of the Nobel Peace Prize Concert," said Mark Cuban, founder of AXS TV. "As the most popular of all television programs produced in association with the Nobel festivities, we knew this Concert was a perfect fit for our network as live music events are the signature of our channel. To be able to bring our audience artists of this caliber on behalf of promoting peace is truly an honor."
