Assaf Blecher to Oversee Keshet DCP Joint Venture

SANTA MONICA: Assaf Blecher, the VP of programming and development at dick clark productions, is expanding his remit to take on oversight for the joint venture with Keshet International, Keshet DCP.

In addition to his responsibilities at dick clark productions, Blecher will manage programming and development for Keshet DCP. The outfit produces unscripted programming in the U.S. and develops, produces and finances new formats for international markets.

Blecher began working with dick clark productions in 2005 as manager and has held several roles within the company since. As VP of development for TV and digital programming, he was overseeing such projects as Golden Gods (VH1) and the upcoming Star Spangeled Spectacular (PBS). Blecher will continue to be based in the company’s Santa Monica headquarters and will report to Mark Bracco, the executive VP of programming and development for dick clark productions, and Alon Shtruzman, the CEO of Keshet International.

“Assaf played a key role in the formation of Keshet DCP and will be instrumental in our strategies to expand our programming footprint domestically and internationally with the most compelling slate of unscripted programming possible,” said Bracco.
