Asia TV USA Hires Former Viacom Exec

NEW YORK: Asia TV USA has named Timothy Boell as the group head of distribution for the company.

Boell will report directly to the CEO and will oversee all distribution efforts for the brands Veria Living and Zee TV Americas. He will be based at the company’s New York headquarters. Boell most recently served as the group VP of content distribution and marketing at Viacom Media Networks, where he secured distribution that served to successfully launch EPIX. Prior to Viacom, he spent 12 years at Sundance Channel, most recently as the senior VP of sales and affiliate marketing.
