Ashton Kutcher Extends Pact with Chicken Soup for the Soul

Ashton Kutcher has signed on to executive produce two new television shows from Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment.

Late last year, Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment inked an exclusive distribution deal with APlus.com, a digital media company founded by Kutcher that specializes in positive journalism and social change. Under this new agreement, Kutcher will executive produce TV series focused on the positive themes drawn from APlus.com and Chicken Soup for the Soul. These programs will be distributed on broadcast or cable channels, as well as online.

“Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment combines a well-known, positive brand with an innovative business model, which combines television and online distribution,” said Kutcher. “I strongly believe in this approach.”
