Another Season of Survivor’s Remorse for Starz

BEVERLY HILLS: Starz has ordered a third season of the hit original comedy series Survivor's Remorse, with Mike O'Malley continuing to serve as exec producer and showrunner.

Survivor's Remorse centers on a young athlete who is thrown into the limelight after signing a contract with a professional basketball team in Atlanta. The show stars Jessie T. Usher and Ronreaco Lee alongside Mike Epps, Tichina Arnold, Teyonah Parris and Erica Ash. The second episode of the sophomore season set a new audience high for the series, with viewership increasing 18 percent week over week.

"We are thrilled to renew Survivor's Remorse for a third season," said Carmi Zlotnik, the managing director of Starz. "Since it began, the critics instantly embraced the show, and now we've seen its fans grow season over season. This all-star creative team, led expertly by Mike O'Malley, boldly tackles the most topical of issues with heart and humor as the Calloway family deals with 'pro-money and pro-problems' off the basketball court. We are very happy and proud to have them return to Starz for another season."
