Amy Poehler Enters Producing Deal with Universal Television

UNIVERSAL CITY: The Parks and Recreation star Amy Poehler has inked a three-year producing deal with Universal Television.

Poehler has played Leslie Knope, a mid-level bureaucrat, on the NBC sitcom for six seasons. She recently won the Golden Globe for lead actress in a comedy for her role on the show. She also served as co-host of the Golden Globes, which delivered 21 million viewers, a ten-year high.
